As I get questions I will update them here to save everyone the hassle of asking: Does it have power steering? No What kind of brakes?Original drums in the back but a four piston power disc brakes brake conversion was done on the front. (I love all original but I love stopping safely even more... better for you and the car!) Do you have a picture of the VIN on the door?Yes. I did my part by setting the reserve well below what this car is worth so that somebody would get a legitimate crack at owning it. I desperately want to see this car go to a person who will appreciate and protect it. These cars are a testament to a time when men like my father shaped stuff from metal with ingenuity, sweat and determination. I need your help. I've been working feverishly behind the scenes to keep a father/son team off this car largely due to what I've read about them on the vintage mustang forum at: forums.vintage-mustang.com/vintage-mustang-forum/490967-who-dallas-classics.html (I stripped the usual 'www' from the link hoping it gets thru ebays filters.) That means you need to type the 'www' into your browser before you copy and paste the rest of the link. If you read all four pages of the forum you may be left as unsettled as I was. Here are the user names they use which I have blocked from bidding on this car.ford_chevy_classic1968_cs_gtinsidethegrilldallasclassics They probably have an entire network of usernames we all don't know about. If any of you have had any dealings with them or know of other usernames they (or their associates) use please send them to me in a message. I'll do my research and if it smells funny I'll block them from the auction. If you're a bidder, or plan to be, sending me a message that says "Hey I'm legitimate." would sure be great. I've already researched many of the bidders and I'd be really happy to hand any of you the keys! My sincere thanks in advance for helping make sure this car ends up in the proper hands. Cheers! Google "who is dallas classics vintage mustang forum" it should be the first thing that comes up. I'm can't post what everyone is sending me but it's clear this isn't their first rodeo. I don't know them nor have I had any dealings with them (I've never sold a car on ebay) but true to form I got an early contact from them and thought it was odd. A little digging turned up the thread in the mustang forum and I simply made the decision to block them for no other reason than I didn't like what I was reading. Glad ebay gives me that option. Thanks again you guys are great.
