This is a 2000 VW Jetta TDI. Volkswagen makes a very strong and reliable vehicle overall. This German engineered car is known to be one of the safest vehicles to be in. They are also known for long lasting motors that have plenty of options you can do to it. Not only is this vehicle a diesel but it is also a German made car, with both of these together it you have a car that will last. Interior: This interior in this car was very well kept. The tan seats seemed to be very clean with barely showing any wear. The previous owner of this car converted this radio into an aftermarket double din. This way you can listen to a playlist on your phone or iPod, because of this it actually makes the speakers more crisp and clear. When I tried the a/c, it was blowing out air but seems to need a slight recharge. You can even recharge it yourself at a low cost. From what I could tell all the electronic accessories worked fine. The only problem I noticed it that the speed odometer didn’t work. It could be a simple clip or bad connection. Exterior: The exterior was great. The clear coat was in good condition I didn’t see any visible rust. The rear bumper is a little scuffed up which is shown in pictures. This could possibly be touched up and buffed out. There are a few dings but please just look at the pictures. There are no indications of rust or bare metal. The hood has very few small scratches. But overall this exterior is in great shape and it is very hard to see anything at first glance. Also the tires on this car were in great shape with plenty of life on them. Motor/Handling: This turbo diesel motor started right up with no hesitation and was ready to hit the road. After letting the turbo warm up for a minute the boost was very noticeable it had no problem getting this car moving. The gears were very smooth along with the clutch. The clutch seems to still have plenty of life left on it. The suspension was very responsive as it should be. This car took corners very abruptly and felt great. I didn’t hear any funny sounds coming from steering or motor. When idling the car sounded perfectly fine as a diesel should. This car feels very dependable and I would not hesitate driving this car for hours at a time. The diesels engine is designed to run at least 400k miles with routine maintenance, Which could be cheap. Volkswagen is also known to produce very dependable cars which are in very high demand. This car is very eco-friendly and gets excellent mpg.
