This 1979 Honda CB750 motorcycle is in fair condition for its age. This bike is a perfect candidate for the cafe treatment, a rebuild, restoration, whatever! Strong motor and comes with a clear title. The bones are there it just needs work. The motor turns over strong. The gas tank is clean internally and locks as it should. Transmission shifts through the gears. This bike is in need of a restoration or rebuild to bring it up to safety standards. It will need to be gone over and have all wear parts, such as brakes, cables, etc, addressed or replaced. Electronics work, but the key is missing, so this bike will need a new set. To test the electronic components we jumped the ignition. Some parts are missing, such as directionals, seat, etc. Please see photos for details on bikes condition. We've not worked on this bike and need the room in the shop, so it's been listed for sale. Thanks for looking.On Sep-20-13 at 16:36:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Wanted to update the listing here to reflect some new information. For one thing we worked on the bike a bit and got the ignition working as it should. The key now turns the bike on and off and activates the parking lights as it should. Additionally we have confirmed that the bike is making strong spark on all cylinders and that the carburetors are all operating smoothly and freely. The throttle cable is not hooked up and does not work, so actually running the bike on the carbs is not happening without some work.
