Vehicle Detail
Offering the very RARE 1969 Mustang Convertible. These are hard to find, and they are not making any more of them- every day, these cars get more and more rare. Background: 1) Year: 1969 2) Body Style: Convertible 3) Make: Ford 4) Model: Mustang 5) VIN: 9T03F137202 6) 2 Barrel Carb 7) Power Steering 8) Power disc brakes 9) Title: Clear 10) Title: Title in Hand. State of Texas Title. Buyer will be getting a clear title. 11) Mileage: 87,168 but assume 1 million as the 69's only had 5 digits, so it could have spun often. 12) Magnum 500 rims (original rims and tires come with the purchase of the car, too) 13) Raised Letter tires 14) Engine Size: 302 cubic inch Here is a link for you to view (or cut and paste into your bar so you can view) a video of the car, for a walk around view: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEjv-SuiPAQ&feature=plcp I have owned it for 1+ years (purchased out of NY), and in that timeframe it has always run well for me. Paint job is a 5 out of 10 at best (looks like a Maaco). Top is ripped, but the electronics/hydraulics still work for taking the top up and down. Underside: still possesses original floor pans, rockers, torque boxes, frame rails, etc. and as expected, has some rust on each. This car should NOT be considered a show car or trailer queen. The car has real cross member. As you can see from the video and pictures, it has a new gas tank. Doesn't appear to have ever been wrecked. The condition of this car is as would be expected for a 44 year old Mustang Convertible that hasn't undergone a full restoration (Interior has been redone, gas tank, relatively new paint, wheels, some other minor things but I wouldn’t really consider it a restoration). International Buyer’s OK. The last 1969 Mustang I sold went to a buyer in Sweden. The car resides Houston, Tx and a buyer can have it towed to the Houston Ship Channel. Once funds are received and cleared, if Buyer elects to, Buyer can instruct a tow truck driver to pick up the car and tow to the Houston Ship Channel for placement in Buyer’s container. All International purchases must be paid by bank wire transfer in US Dollar funds only. All logistics and costs will be responsibility of Buyer, including but not limited to: Buyer to file all necessary documents for export, coordinate delivery of the car to a US port, secure it in containers and board an ocean carrier. Buyer responsible for Custom clearing the vehicle and registration in your own country. Seller is responsible for nothing as it relates to shipping to port, getting through port, etc. RESERVE PRICE IS RIDICULOUSLY LOW!! THIS CAR WILL SELL! On Sep-20-13 at 21:02:28 PDT, seller added the following information: Numbers Matching:casting number on intake consistent with VIN (302ci/2BBL); Assembly date 8L12(12/12/68)marking on engine consistent for a 1969 car; I can't see block Vin (full or partial), but I am treating it as numbers matching.
