This 1964 Buick Wildcat convertible is a good, complete driving restoration project. It has 81243 Miles showing. (May be higher as it will increase with driving.) Still have some good driving weather / top down before the cold sets in! The “Wildcat 445”, 401 cubic inch engine starts and runs well, but has a ticking rocker. Automatic transmission shifts well. Power steering pump whines under load, and does leak. Power brakes with mostly new lines stop the car nice and straight. Features bucket seats and console with tachometer that works. Power top operates as it should but has a leaking cylinder on the passenger side. Good radial white-wall tires on Buick's chrome styled steel wheels add to the sporty look of this big cruiser. Prices will be going up on these as the late 50's prices have done. Check the price guides and compare; this is certainly not a #5 car, and starting price is a real good deal for a #4. Clear title, ready to go, No Reserve. Last bidder wins! If you watched the prior auction, you know there is a sedan donor car available. It is NOT included in this auction. There is a link to photos for the sedan below. If interested, please contact me. Rear quarters on the convertible were previously patched and filled, and all that needs to be re-done. The rear mount structure has been rebuilt and the sheet metal in that area of the trunk has been replaced. The bottom of the trunk still needs to be patched. Floors were patched previously with sheet metal, riveted, but since a lot of the old rusty floor was not removed it looks bad from underneath. Have too many projects, and too many cars registered! Would like to sell both cars together and will discuss a price for the pair. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the cars are advertised locally.
