***Attention Collectors*** 1975 Honda GL1000 1st year Gold Wing For sale is this very nice collector piece. The bike starts easy, runs great, goes through all of the gears without a hitch, and looks incredibly cool. I took it on a ten mile ride today and it has great power, all the breaks work as they should, turn signals, headlight, brake and taillight, speedometer and tach all work great. The horn is the only thing to this point that I have found that doesn't work. Carbs have been taken apart and cleaned, compression is a steady 125-130 PSI across the four cylinders. The original seat is in perfect condition, tires are perfect, tank has minor scratches, and the shroud has a ding in the one side. The chrome is showing some patina and I believe that's all it would need to be a great showpiece. I personally love the patina and would leave it as it is! This bike has a VERY reasonable reserve and is worth quite a bit more than the reserve I have set. You will NEVER lose money on one of these in this condition at this price.
