I am selling this bike for a friend in Ohio - This 1985 BMW K100 (RS model I believe) has been in a barn for about 5 years. Was running when parked. Most of the miles on this bike were accumulated by him as this was his daily commuter and touring bike for a number of years. The bike has numerous scrapes and scuffs, rust and oxidation but overall can be made back into a rider with a few days of clean up and maintenance. One day going to work he had a close brush with a car that pulled out which left the fork tubes tweaked a bit. There is a spare front end that comes with the bike so that forks can be replaced if need be. It will also need a rear brake disc as the current one has a split in it. Other than that, clean up, fluids, fresh fuel and battery and this thing should be back to life....or just a great parts bike if you need a spare K100. Bonus - it has a nice set of stock bags and mounts and a corbin seat that needs a re-cover.
