Vehicle Detail

My 1956 Chevy 3200 is up for auction. Was originally a V8 truck but V8 was swapped out for a drive train from 1956 Chevy sedan. The good: Engine is a strong 235 6 in line with three forward speeds with shifter on the floor. Clutch is in good condition, no slippage. Runs and drives well and has current inspection and registration tags. Has clear Texas title. Has four new coker tires, G-78 in front and L-78 in the rear. Truck was lowered in front and rear by previous owner. Has newly painted wheels with stainless wheel rings and chrome lug nuts. Has good brakes with newly repaired radiator and new 12 volt battery with good battery tie down hardware. Has chrome hood and fender emblems, has new chrome ash tray and new headliner and visors. Body is sturdy and straight. Doors open and close good. Windows roll up and down freely with ease. The old ignition points distributor was upgraded to a more dependable HEI distributor for better consistency. Good front and back glass, comes with new (uninstalled) gaskets for front and back glass. Comes with old 3200 fender moldings and thin stainless molding that goes around door windows and back glass, thin molding is not installed, needs clips. Old style seat belts were installed for safety. Does come with spare tire/wheel and upright jack. The bad: Has minor dents and a little pealing of old paint. Does have sum rust on passenger side fender and driver side rear fender but is repairable. Does not have rear bumper or radio. Door alette window is cracked on driver side, passenger side door window has crack. The speedometer does not work and is missing the wiper blade switch. This truck is a daily driver, can be chopped up as rat rod or can easily be continued to be restored to original condition. $500 must be deposited two days after auction ends and is non refundable with final payment due in three days after auction ends.On Sep-15-13 at 17:00:44 PDT, seller added the following information: My 1956 Chevy 3200 is up for auction.
