Up for sale is a 1978 corvette that is a project car, it has a 350 engine auto transmission with 74,000 miles that runs and moves on it own. When I got it home I drove it around the block and the transmission shifts fine the brakes may need to be bleed the car has been sitting for a while when I got it. There are no leaks in the brake system. It may need a carb. that don't seem like it working to good. The body is in good shape and the frame is very solid which is important because these cars are known for the frame rotting out. The car needs interior, exhaust, paint. I replaced the rear bumper and bumper cover with a 1980 bumper and cover because the one that was on it was beat from the sun drying it out. The interior was a mess when I got it so I took it out (rugs and door panels) and trashed them. The floor are also solid. This is a good project car because it is a complete car and will not take 1000's of dollars to restore it that's if you do the work yourself. The starting bid is what I will sell the car for. I purchased this car to restore and keep it but I now have 4 cars for other people to restore and I just don't have time to get to it, so I rather see it go to someone who will restore it then letting it sit around for a year before I can get to it.
