The unique Chrysler PT cruiser was intended for the youth when they first came out not too long ago. Its thoughtful engineering was made to be very convenient. I have never been in one before and I am guilty for judging a book by its cover. This was a very interesting experience. They also have a performance line that has the same MOPAR engine as the turbo SRT-4. INTERIOR: The condition of this cruiser was VERY neat and clean. The beautiful leather and suede combo got me at first glance. The original owner took a lot of pride in this vehicle. EVERYTHING WORKED GREAT! It was like brand new. In-fact there are seat covers on the front seats, not to hide anything, but to keep them like new. The seats are not showing any signs of wear. The A/C was very cold on a 90 degree humid day. The original shift knob is still in the glove box, as well as the original owners/maintenance manuals for this car. There are 2 6 disc cd slot holders for the CD changer under the seat. Like I said, like brand new. The whole rear cargo area was so universal to fit all of your needs. All of the accessories were all there like the shelf and the cargo net. The rear seats fold down for even more room! EXTERIOR: Just like the interior, expect the same, like new. Clear coat was in great shape. Maybe this was garage kept. There was a small scuff on the passenger side door, nothing major at all! There is a very small star/chip on the windshield, shown in the pictures. This can be filled with a resin, you can even DIY less than $20 at a auto part store. A pro would be cheap also as this is not a crack. The tires were in great shape as well as the wheels! I have not seen any rust anywhere! This vehicle is an A+ in my book, and I have seen a lot of vehicles. MOTOR/HANDLING: EXPECT THE BEST! This car drove like you would expect, like new still! This is low millage for this age. This PT was babied its whole life. The engine starts right up, the engine bay way very clean, indicating no leaks, there are no odors. The fluids are clean and topped off. Driving was very fun, this car is not hesitant or sluggish. It got up to speed faster than I expected. Shifting through every gear was easy and the clutch felt smooth. There is plenty on life on this clutch. I believe this was a mature owner that had this last. By the way, this cruiser was getting great gas millage. I would drive this anywhere and have no worries. I can’t imagine anything unforeseen happening to this vehicle on a 10 hour drive. I drove it for an hour and a half on just ten bucks. HONESTLY do your research on this vehicle, you will be convinced and comforted to make a purchase. I am 23 years old and I would own one. This PT is very fun, stylish, and actually practical for cargo, comfortable for passengers, and great on gas. Chrysler is known to be easy to maintain, just follow the manual.
