Lets try this again. PLEASE do NOT bid unless you are serious about this automobile! I am relisting this for the last time. The starting bid is my very bottom dollar. Due to many requests on the last auction, I have added a "Buy-it-Now" option. This auction is for my own personal 1970 Pontiac LeMans Sport Convertible. I bought this car when I was a Junior in high school in 1982. It was located behind a barn with the doghouse gone and bags of leaves stacked on it. Unbelievably, it actually ran. We got it home and proceeded to assemble it enough to where I could drive it to school. She wasn't pretty, but she was a convertible! I dated my wife in this car and we drove it on our honeymoon in 1984. A short while later, newly married and not exactly rolling in dough, I sold it to a friend of mine who could afford to restore her. Our agreement was that if he ever decided to sell her, I got first shot. Well, fifteen years later he gave me the opportunity to buy her back. He had about 75% of the restoration done, but she still needed paint and assembly. We jumped at the chance to have our high school ride back. The restoration was finished in 2000. (Are they ever really finished?) We have had a blast with her, but unfortunately there comes a time when it is better for her to have a new owner that will drive her and use her instead of sitting in the garage for months at a time. Lately, she has been used mostly to haul the local TV news team to various holiday parades. Mind you, she is not perfect. A few scratches and scrapes have been picked up over the years. The top has had a small patch installed. The drivers seat has a small hole. She could probably use a tune up after sitting so long. She does run and drive fine. I'm not crazy about selling her, but it is for the better. Some of the features are: *350 Engine *350 TH Automatic Transmission *Convertible *Rodney Red Aluminum Radiator w/ Dual Electric Fans *Rodney Red Serpentine Belt System *Air Conditioning - I have a chrome A/C compressor and bracket that have not been installed. I have everything for A/C except the hose assemblies. *Secret Audio hidden audio system with 6 disc CD changer *1999 Pontiac Code 11 Pewter Metallic Paint * NO rust * Approximately 6000 miles since restoration. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. Please, NO trade offers. I am not advertising the car locally while the eBay auction is active. If you have the winning bid, you WILL be the auction winner. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!!
