I'm selling my 2006 Honda 450er and a 91 250x. This auction is for BOTH atvs. Winning bidder will get both!! I just don't get time to ride them anymore. First the 450= I have thousands stuck into it to make it fun and reliable to ride. Research and you will find the '06 and newer are the better quads to own .The quad is mostly stock but has many improvements made strictly to make it more reliable, fun and safer to ride. It look very good. Cosmetically, it has the normal scratches on the OEM plastics but no cracks. Still has shine to it. The frame is mint with NO cracks or twist or rust! It was professionally built to be a great woods/trail racer but it has never been raced or abused. Has a factory HRC kit installed and properly jetted. (It is fast and runs perfect with no bog or hiccups at all) The trans gears have been double back-cut to improve shifting and eliminate any transmission problems. (A $1200 necessary fix for any 450) It shifts great and is almost impossible to miss or pop out of any gear. It's electic start and has the update done and starts just like it should. It has fully tuned suspension with triple rate front and dual rate rear shocks with the GT link. It's plush like a bike and won't wear you out or beat you up when you ride it. Also handles great and is much safer to ride than the stock suspension that wants to buck you off. It has a precision steering damper and a houser +2 stem and renthal bars. The a-arms have forever lasting grease-able urethane bushings instead of the stock wear prone bearings. The rear has all new bearings and bushings. Has all new chain, brakes, sprockets, grips, etc. It's practically brand new but better than stock. Has twist or thumb throttle and tether. Aluminum under belly plates. Just too much to list!! Everything works and it's just a great machine that's not all hacked together like so many others. The 250= This quad was one I took along on trips to just to have with for someone else to ride. It's in clean condition. It's much more mellow than the 450 and is better for the inexperienced rider. It is a little hard starting when cold, but once it's warmed up it starts first kick. It runs well and is fun to ride. It has many new parts on it like brakes and chain etc. No major problems at all with it. It has a crack in the rear plastic but looks pretty good. Your buying two nice quads for the price of one. The reserve is set at a fair price for the 450 alone. I'm taking a loss on selling them and now how much it takes to duplicate them but I just don't have the time to ride anymore and I'm getting too old for it. They come with MANY extra parts for maintaining them. ( Honda oil and coolant, extra sprockets to change gearing, extra handle bars to adjust ride comfort, oil filters and o-rings, manuals, valve shim kit, rims and tires, and much more. Both have clean titles and are registered. READ-READ!!!!!! Bid with confidence. Deposit of $250 through Paypal is due within 3 days of auction end. The rest can be made either through Paypal or with cash when you pick them up. I will deliver them with all the parts up to 200 miles for 50 cents a mile if paid in full in advance. I don't need any trouble so don't bid if you don't agree or can't hold up your end. ThanksOn Sep-10-13 at 17:59:41 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer questions===The plastics on the 450 have what I would call "normal" scratches on them for being an off-road machine. They are not in like new condition, but look pretty good as you can tell by the photos. The 250 plastics are rougher and the rear has a crack in it but they are plenty usable the way they are. ----The tires on the 450 are probably about 75% left and the front rims are thick wall aftermarket. The tires on the 250 are about 80% left. They all hold air. ----The extra rims and tires= 2 stock front tires on rims, 2 stock rear tires on rims, 2 stock rear rims, and two rear tires on rims that someone put a bunch of sheet metal screws in for ice riding. These are just extra that I have laying around and go with. ------The 450er is the same as a 450r except it 's electric start instead of kick start.--- Because of the suspension, it sits lower to the ground than stock ( about 2 inches). It really handles well and is way more stable / manageable than stock. I wouldn't even ride a stock suspension anymore. It's just too fast of a machine not to have a suspension that works with it. The 250 has stock suspension but it's a whole different quad and for it's use it didn't require it.--- Both have been maintained well = the 450 had oil changes after every trip. ( oil is much cheaper than a motor and 450's like the oil changed a lot ! ) The 250, not so often but still well maintained. See the extra oil and filters in the pictures. I have all the parts for the 450 to remove the Factory Honda Racing Kit (that go with) if you find the HRC kit makes it too powerful for your liking. ( It's a BIG difference with the full kit!) The hrc kit is about the only thing you can do to increase the power without compromising reliability. Unlike many mismatched cams, exhaust, jetting and big bore kits, the hrc kit doesn't even void the factory warranty.---Both haven't been ridden this year, ( that's why I'm selling them ) and the 450 probably has about 25-30 hrs on it since it was built. The 250 probably has around 40 hrs on the motor. The 250 motor is all stock except for an 87 250x cam and custom piston. Both just don't get used enough for me to keep.
