It's the Chrysler TC by Maserati. Styled by Chrysler, the TC was sent to Maserati in Italy where the entire body shell was assembled by hand, including a special hood. After Maserati installed the drivetrain, the cars were shipped back to America. The 1989 engine available for only that year in the TC's short three-year life span: 160 bhp 2.2-litre Turbo four, four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, 15-inch alloys, a power-operated removable hardtop, and genuine Italian leather upholstery with exotic wood accents. With a total production run of only 7,300 for all three years, that's one rare Italian-American hybrid that almost anyone can afford.
