1955 3100 Short Wheel Base Step Side Southern Truck! This is a pretty much an original truck and has what I think to be the original 235 6 cylinder engine and manual 3 speed transmission, manual brakes & manual steering. The interior has the basic rubber floor mat, nice original seat, metal door panels, radio delete with and floor & defrost heat only. All of the glass is in the truck however both door windows will need replaced and all other pieces have some imperfections cracks or fog both widow regulators work well... The truck has been lowered 3 inches in the front and 4 inches in the rear. The tires are 235/75/15 all the way around with the 15 x 6 steel wheels. All the electric stuff works, lights, wipers (Vacuum), turn signals, horn and most gauges. I have rebuilt or installed new the following parts, Carburetor, Starter, Coil, Points, Condenser, Cap, Rotor, Plugs, Plug Wires, Fuel Pump, wheel cylinders and replaced brake hoses. This truck has its share of 58 year old surface rust, rust and dings, however that’s what gives this truck a real cool look (Patina), Don’t be fooled by a little rust here and their this is a really solid truck that has a really nice cab with solid doors along with solid floor pans with just a few pin holes and a good rust free frame. You can drive this truck anywhere just pull the original manual choke out pump the gas twice let it warm up for 2 minutes and your off and running as long as you are not in a hurry as it has a low gear in the rear end and it’s a push to get to 60mph down the interstate but great to cruise around town in.
