Vehicle Detail
1999 Honda Gold Wing SE Anniversary Edition 1500CC Engine 86,800 miles VIN# 1HFSC2231XA104218 I’m the second owner of this motorcycle and it’s time to pass it on to someone else. I’m not an avid rider and I have other interests that take up more time. I added the back rest for the driver and the passenger arm rests, but one arm rest has a rip in it. I just bought a brand new Exide battery July 7th, 2013. Oil and spark plugs were changed last month. I only use premium Shell gasoline for the motorcycle. A few items that are not perfect. The cruise control and emergency flasher buttons are giving problems. The emergency flashers won’t stay on, so you would need to get a new switch. The cruise does work, but when you take it off cruise, the light still shows it’s on. In other words, it sticks. The previous owner, as well as I, cracked some of the plastic parts, and they have since been repaired. The downside is that the paint is not a perfect match. There is a cosmetic area that shows where you can't put the plastic piece on top (see pic). Some of the features include: Cruise control, CB radio, Headset attachments, Reverse gear, Stereo, Adjustable shocks for comfort riding, and big foot pegs for the passenger. I have never tried the CB or headset attachments, so I can’t tell you if they work or not. I did buy/download the repair manual, and this is free for the next person. This is a 600+ page manual that really shows a lot.. I see some of these Gold Wings selling for well over $7,000.00, so I think this is a very fair asking/starting price, and a great chance for you to get on the road for the rest of the summer! I saw the Kelly Blue Book retail value in the $7,200.00 range.I require a $500.00 deposit within 48 hours of winning the auction. Cash or Cashiers Check for the balance. However, I will need to call the bank to verify your cashiers check. Please keep this in mind as most banks are closed on weekends. You know the old saying, "Cash is King"Feel free to ask any questions and I'll answer as best I can.On Jul-23-13 at 19:46:47 PDT, seller added the following information: I do have the motorcycle listed on another site/classifieds, so I may pull the listing before the auction closes
