BMW R75/6 Classic airhead in great shape. Major rebuild (cylinders, brakes, clutch) completed. Fairly new tires, battery, tailpipes and shocks. Runs like a champ. Paint and pinstriping in great shape. As is, this bike will give you miles and miles of enjoyment with only minor tuning. The major work has been done. Have front fairing with windscreen, Krauser side cases and Reynolds stainless steel rack to transform to a classic BMW cruiser. Clymer repair manual, other manuals and spare parts (including original shocks, petcocks and air pump). This is a great bike that needs to be ridden. Odometer at 28,900, but the odometer on these models works intermittently. Only about 500 miles on rebuilt engine. Tagged and titled as historic in Maryland. Ready to ride and to show off. It is like riding a piece of history. Yes - the '74's generally have front disc brakes. The previous owner, who had the bike for more than a decade, said he thought it was an early '74 that wasn't completely transitioned to the /6s. The front end and instrument panel are definitely /6. It doesn't look like a drum was switched out for a disc, but it could have been over the last 40 years. Its a bit of a rarity. You can come pick it up in person or I will work with your shipper. It runs (I take it out every weekend I can), but I would bring it to a BMW dealership to adjust the clutch, brakes, carbs, before riding it on any long road trip. Bought another bike and don't have time for both. Give this one a good home.
