1968 VW Karmann Ghia Coupe!!! Here is a beautiful Karmann Ghia Coupe that is in excellent condition and 100% rust free!!! This car was restored about a or two year ago and seldomly driven. At the time of restoration the car recived a gorgeous paint job on a beautiful straight rust free body, new chrome, and new interior. The body on this car is absolutely laser straight and everything lines up very nicely. This is a very nice ghia finished to high standard. The cars underside is solid and rust free. These cars are excellent cars to drive and enjoy either daily or just for fun on the weekends. They are beautiful to look at, rare to see, easy and even fun to maintain due to there simplicity. Click to enlarge Exterior: This great Karmann Ghia was treated to a very high quality bare metal repaint and as you can see from the photos, it looks gorgeous. The body on the car is laser straight and free of "waves." All of the doors, hood and deck lid all line up beautifully. This car was stripped down to bare metal and all of the glass was removed. This Ghia was refinished in Porsche Seal Grey and looks fantastic on the gorgeous lines of the Ghia body. The car was then reassmebled with all new rubber seals and gaskets etc... The car looks as beautiful in person as it does in pictures. The chrome bumpers on the car are gorgeous and have been rechromed. Overall the exterior of the car is in excellent conditon! Click to enlarge Interior: The interior of this Karmen Ghia is in excellent condition!!! The interior was redone in the factory color scheme using all of the correct materials. The interior is absolutely beautiful with black seats and grey carpet. The dashboard is finished in the Porsche Seal Grey Metallic to match the exterior of the car and has been topped with a new dashpad. Everything works on the dash except for the clock. The original radio actually WORKS!!! The headliner is in perfect shape as well. The seats are free of stains, tears and odors and are like new showing very little wear. All of the gauges and lights work. The dash is free of cracks etc... Overall, I would say that the interior is in excellent shape!!! Click to enlarge Engine: The 4 cylinder engine starts up and runs like a top!!! The engine blows no smoke on start up or while driving and moves this car along with ease. The transmission also shifts through all of the gears with ease and the clutch feels great and has plenty of bite. This car comes with original owners manual, spare tire and jack. The brakes and suspension have also been gone through and the car rides, steers and stops nicely! This really is a great driving Karmen Ghia that can be driven daily or just for fun on the weekends. These are great cars because they are very reliable and any part you might need is readily available and very inexpensive. This car however, shouldn't need anything for sometime!
