Vehicle Detail

Untitled Document Up for auction here is a 1932 Chrysler CI series four door sedan. This restoration project was started several years ago by a local person who has since passed away, and now it needs a good home with someone who has the time and energy to finish the job. In the sections below I have tried to give an honest and accurate representation of what you're getting for your money, but if you have questions about something I failed to address please send me a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Body: The body and paint work on this Chrysler have already been done, so I can't say for certain how straight the body was before paint. However, you can easily see the back sides of all the panels and there doesn't look to have been any substantial bodywork done and I didn't notice any signs of metal replacement. It looks like it must have been a pretty nice car when they started! There are only a couple of small rust holes in the floorpan, but there is some heavy pitting, but all in all the floors are pretty nice. All four of the fenders look to be in very good condition as well. The paint isn't what I would consider show quality, but I think it would be presentable enough for a driver with a little elbow grease. There are some places where I noticed some light checking and cracking in the paint, but overall it's serviceable and could be left as is. Mechanical: I don't know much about the mechanical condition of the car other than to say that the engine is free and turns over easily. I do know that the previous owner did have it running at some point but I have not personally heard it run. Other: I've gone over all the loose parts and it looks like all the major components are here. The only thing I noticed missing is the spare tire carrier and there is no spare wheel. I'm sure that there are probably other parts missing but the big and expensive stuff is here. Also, the previous owner went ahead and had most of the chrome plating done as can be seen in the photos. It's not 100 point show quality plating but still very nice and would be perfect for a driver car. I'd imagine there is a sizeable chunk of change in the chrome work alone! Please Note: I've tried to be honest and thorough in my description but if you have any questions about anything that I missed, please shoot me a message through eBay and I'll get back to you ASAP. The car is available for inspection during the course of this auction to serious bidders (please, no tire kickers) by appointment only. A non-refundable deposit of $500 will be due within 48 hours of the auction end, and the balance will be due and payable in cash or certified funds before the car will be released. The car will need to be picked up within two weeks of the auction end unless other arrangements are made beforehand. Thanks for looking!
