This is a GREAT example of the Beauty and Style of the British roadsters in the late 60's. 1969 was the last year the Austin - Healey Sprites were exported to the United States and they tell me it's the year to have ! This Sprite Roadster is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Washington State - Idaho high mountain desert - Western vehicle that is sound and in NICE shape. In my opinion you're not going to find much nicer ORIGINAL FLOORS than the ones that are on this BEAUTY ! It still retains its drivers side front frame mounted VIN plate shown in a picture below. I drove this car for the last several days as my every day driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you it runs and drives WELL. It has good get up and go, awesome gas mileage and handles like a slot car, what is not to like? If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this car for yourself, you won't be disappointed and if you like attention then this car is for you !! This BEAUTY has what appears to be the STRONG - Original - REBUILT - 1275 cc Inline four cylinder motor in it and running VERY well. The motor still retains the original intake manifold, original exhaust manifold, original valve cover, original dual air cleaner housings and the original English made - rebuilt - dual SU synchronized carbs. Sounds good too with the factory style exhaust system. The engine is backed by a smooth four speed manual transmission which also functions well and the clutch is nearly brand new. The Black vinyl interior is in GREAT condition with VERY NICE Black vinyl front bucket seats with factory headrests, GOOD ORIGINAL Black carpeting, NICE ORIGINAL Austin Healey steering wheel, VERY NICE Black Vinyl door panels (in the picture of the passenger side door panel it shows the knob missing from the window handle, a new one has been ordered and will be put on soon), VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl dash and a NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl dash pad showing one small crack. All of the rubber weatherstripping is also still in good condition for being original and is still soft and supple. This Sprite is nicely equipped including factory disc brakes up front, factory back up lights, chrome drivers side exterior mirror, good glass, factory gauge clusters including factory tachometer, good heater and defroster, power wipers, Clarion AM Radio which is no longer working, seat belts and factory wing windows. This car is a great running and wonderful looking Sprite Convertible. This Austin - Healey Sprite has sharp looks, good power and good gas mileage as well ! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive train are all in good working order as well as the electrical system. All the lights work including headlights, taillights, front and rear turn signals. Speaking of lights all of the ORIGINAL light and reflector lenses are clear, bright and in good condition. The trunk compartment is nice and clean and still retains its ORIGINAL black carpeting material, ORIGINAL jack and lug wrench and a full size spare tire mounted on an ORIGINAL matching Austin Healey steel wheel. This Convertible is SHARP !! This ride is a great investment opportunity and it is priced right ! It is in GREAT condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector car which is not seen at every stop light for sure. If you have been looking but cannot find a Classic British Sports Car worthy of your hard earned money look NO further because this is the one ! The Sunburst Yellow exterior finish on this vehicle is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL showing a few chips, nicks and imperfections but is still bright and shiny and looks STUNNING as you can clearly see in the pictures !! This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. It is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression. Looking for a NICE 1969 Austin Healey Sprite Convertible ? This is it ! Do not let this one get away ! This would look great in your garage ! Take a look at the lines on this beauty. This is a GREAT example of the Beauty and Style of the British roadsters in the late 60's. 1969 was the last year the Austin - Healey Sprites were exported to the United States and they tell me it's the year to have ! This Sprite Roadster is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Washington State - Idaho high mountain desert - Western vehicle that is sound and in NICE shape. In my opinion you're not going to find much nicer ORIGINAL FLOORS than the ones that are on this BEAUTY ! It still retains its drivers side front frame mounted VIN plate shown in a picture below. I drove this car for the last several days as my every day driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you it runs and drives WELL. It has good get up and go, awesome gas mileage and handles like a slot car, what is not to like? If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this car for yourself, you won't be disappointed and if you like attention then this car is for you !!
This BEAUTY has what appears to be the STRONG - Original - REBUILT - 1275 cc Inline four cylinder motor in it and running VERY well. The motor still retains the original intake manifold, original exhaust manifold, original valve cover, original dual air cleaner housings and the original English made - rebuilt - dual SU synchronized carbs. Sounds good too with the factory style exhaust system. The engine is backed by a smooth four speed manual transmission which also functions well and the clutch is nearly brand new. The Black vinyl interior is in GREAT condition with VERY NICE Black vinyl front bucket seats with factory headrests, GOOD ORIGINAL Black carpeting, NICE ORIGINAL Austin Healey steering wheel, VERY NICE Black Vinyl door panels (in the picture of the passenger side door panel it shows the knob missing from the window handle, a new one has been ordered and will be put on soon), VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl dash and a NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl dash pad showing one small crack. All of the rubber weatherstripping is also still in good condition for being original and is still soft and supple. This Sprite is nicely equipped including factory disc brakes up front, factory back up lights, chrome drivers side exterior mirror, good glass, factory gauge clusters including factory tachometer, good heater and defroster, power wipers, Clarion AM Radio which is no longer working, seat belts and factory wing windows. This car is a great running and wonderful looking Sprite Convertible. This Austin - Healey Sprite has sharp looks, good power and good gas mileage as well ! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive train are all in good working order as well as the electrical system. All the lights work including headlights, taillights, front and rear turn signals. Speaking of lights all of the ORIGINAL light and reflector lenses are clear, bright and in good condition. The trunk compartment is nice and clean and still retains its ORIGINAL black carpeting material, ORIGINAL jack and lug wrench and a full size spare tire mounted on an ORIGINAL matching Austin Healey steel wheel.
This Convertible is SHARP !! This ride is a great investment opportunity and it is priced right ! It is in GREAT condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector car which is not seen at every stop light for sure. Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. We prefere a bank to bank wire transfer of funds as payment as this is the safest for you and for us. We do not accept any paypal payments. A 25% deposit is due within 3 days of the end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of the auction ending. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing, your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
