Vehicle Detail

For Sale my 2003 BMW M5, a beautiful car in excellent condition! Carbon Schwartz is the exterior color. Car resembles black in low light, but actually has a blue and white pearlescence in the paint which gleems in the sunshine to a deep dark blue. Interior is black leather, including the optional black leather dash and leather armrests. It also has the optional alcantara, or suede headliner. Real stately...Car has 118000 gently driven miles, never raced nor abused. My mechanic, who has serviced a dozen of these cars, says this car is as tight as any he has driven. Many (most!) have developed a clunkiness in the rear end (differential) and clutches get worn from abuse and improper shifts. This car is super tight! The rear end is rock solid and the entire clutch assembly was replaced (per recommended servicing) at 100K miles, so, it is essentially a brand new clutch.Service was done last month, so the car is set to go with new fluids all around, new cabin filters, new 10W60 synthetic oil (recommended) and oil filter. In addition, the Continental Extreme Contact tires are BRAND NEW ($1100+ value) last month and front brake pads are brand new (Akebono Euro Ceramic-great performance + low brake dust.) I would not hesitate to drive this car cross country tomorrow. These E39 BMW 5-series from 1997-2003 are gaining in popularity beyond their original appeal. Many consider these cars to be future collectibles, especially the brutish M5. CPI Value Guide, published every 2 months, have had these values rising every issue. That's 6 increases in 12 months!Drives like a normal, civilized 5-series around town. Give it a little more gas and you start to realize the power available, and the serious torque. But put the car in the Sport mode with a flick of a button, and the car is a relentless 400hp beast. Truly fun.... a blast to drive! Keep up with basically any car on the road. But blow right by most of them if you choose to.Call me with any questions, or to see the car in person (561) 704-5305. Car is sold as is, where is with no implied warranty. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is available for sale locally On Jul-19-13 at 08:33:36 PDT, seller added the following information:Just wanted to mention a couple things to be as accurate as possible in describing the condition of the car: 1) Liquid in rear view mirror has separated a bit, which is a common occurrence in these cars. In other words, it is lighter colored on the top 1/4, darker tinted bottom 3/4's. 2) Dash pixels are quite good, but some are missing. Again, common with these cars. No where near as bad as many cars I've seen! 3) There is a slight crack in rear bumper about 5 inches long, very low, and barely noticeable. This happened before I got the car, and did not get around to fixing it. It is not a crack that will spread or anything. I do have the touch paint, though, enough to spray or hand apply if you want to address. The GOOD things that have been done since I listed the car: 1) The front bumper has been professionally reconditioned: filled, sanded and repainted to make it basically perfect again. 2) The front headlights have been professionally reconditioned and epoxy coated. Like brand new! 3) The car has been professionally buffed and detailed, a 3 step compounding and waxing process. Again, paint looks brand new! Color just pops! 4) Next Monday I bring car in to my German mechanic to replace power steering reservoir and both hoses. They leak over time, again, a very common occurrence. But I want the new owner to fully appreciate and just drive without any immediate concerns. The pump screen tends to clog over time and back up a bit. Consider it done. Happy bidding! Bid to own, this is a killer car at this price!
