Found in building after owner passed on in 2006--daughter sold it with most exterior parts misplaced and not found---Also NO TITLE could be found either, so Bill of Sale ONLY ----so, I have been buying trim parts , and have found almost all and can help with the last missing few--Engine is free and appears that it will run (good oil and antifreeze), cannot offer guarantee to that , so will be sold "as is" for a really low entry price.--Only the '61 had bucket seats--All glass is good , too--Nice original engine-turned aluminum dash is COMPLETE and has radio--only 3,900 of these were built and this one bears the custom order dash plate on the glove box--289 V-8 Automatic w/Power-steering and TT (posi-traction)--I have not taken photo's of all the trim (grill , lower grills ,taillights, bumpers etc.), but I will--I have owned (5) of these and think they are one of the best the company offered--My last one sold for $9,500 UN-RESTORED like this one , last year--Headliner also is good--This is the last year for the "Tail-Fin's"---This a great 4-passenger sports coupe---------Call me for any more info almost anytime here in the Kansas City area at (913) Two-Zero-Eight--5 8 4 4 Bruce -----I have this listed all over on other site's ,and reserve the right to withdraw from EBAY at any time--this will sell soon.On Jul-13-13 at 18:42:08 PDT, seller added the following information: In the parts I just bought, there is a nice straight rear valance to replace the wrinkled one under the trunk lid.On Jul-13-13 at 19:45:08 PDT, seller added the following information: There is a lot of stuff that goes with this car that will install after it is painted.You will definitely want my Studebaker connection's for a few more things--the guy's that have been helping me are local and very fair.On Jul-14-13 at 09:59:18 PDT, seller added the following information: If you are really interested, you should call me on my cell today--I have had a lot of interest and I am willing to negotiate some.--I will be posting new pic's today of chrome and parts.On Jul-15-13 at 20:20:09 PDT, seller added the following information: O.K. --Let me restate some fact's--There is NO TITLE , but one can be had.--Here in Kansas a Bill of Sale is all that is required and then an inspection by the Highway Patrol--- Also, This IS a 1961 Hawk and All VIN numbers are correct --The fact that you are required to fill out certain field's for EBAY, means you have to choose from some generic answers, like on where it say's TITLE--I chose CLEAR , just to get through it and then thought I was being clear about the fact that the TITLE was not located by the family.
