It started life as a standard, rust free but shabby 911S and has been turned into a head turning period Rally style, 1 off. The braking system has been completely rebuilt with new pads, calipers, rotors and flexible lines. The interior has been somewhat customized with rear seat delete, new off-road seats, harness bar, new carpet, safety harnesses, aluminum floor boards, aluminum race pedals, completely re-built/restored gauges and a new headliner. Accessories in the interior include a folding shovel, tool roll, first aid kit, 2 additional 12v power supply sockets, one front and one rear. The sun roof works properly and was also rebuilt and adjusted. All wiring has been gone thru and refreshed. All electrical items work as new including the power windows and all exterior and interior lighting. The trunk area is clean with no rust. A custom battery tray and mount have been installed along with a cleaned and sealed gas tank. All original components are present and in working order in the trunk space. Door seals have been replaced, door upholstery replaced and weather guard backed. Custom door pulls fabricated and covered in premium vinyl to match the door cards. New front and rear window seals were installed after paint and headliner. Custom 8 Ball gear shift knob and custom shift boot set off the uniqueness of this fun car. On the outside very little bodywork was needed and we even left a few dents and dings to give the car a "survivor" look. The custom paint was done to simulate a "groovy" 70's Rally effect. The car was originally brown with cork colored interior. Headlight cages and fog lights were added. Every piece of trim polished and restored, custom treatment of the front and rear bumpers for off-road durability. All lenses replaced or restored as new. Period correct racing decals are all removable if you should choose to do so. The period correct roof rack now carries a full-size spare tire with matching Porsche wheel. The tires are brand new all terrain and have holes for ice studs. The rims were blasted and finished in a complimentary color then the tires were professionally mounted and balanced. The suspension has been raised to Rally height, corner balanced and mud flaps added to protect the exterior finish. The engine has been tuned, cleaned and painted. All original CIS components are present and functioning properly. The engine was not rebuilt, it does leave a drop or two of oil on the floor, but it's just marking its territory. No blue smoke, issues of any kind. The 5spd manual trans shifts smoothly and accurately. There way too many unique things about this car, I could write all day and not cover them.
