Up for auction is a remarkably rare BMW 2002A that is equipped with all the desirable options imaginable. This is the last year for the beloved sports sedan that created a trend in motor history still prevalent in today's vehicles. She was purchased new in Atlanta, Georgia through Global Imports and comes with her original window sticker and dealer documents all intact. Her body is very dry throughout including her floorboards, trunk, firewall, shock towers and wheels wells. This BMW is equipped with her 2.0L inline four cylinder O.H.C. motor and a rare automatic transmission plus factory sunroof and fully functioning ice cold air-conditioning. Her exterior is the rare Malaga red which is a lovely shade of burgundy that is impossible to find. Her interior is all stock except for the seats which have been redone in cloth that are super comfortable all around. Stock steel wheels with a great set of tread and a full size matching spare with all her factory jack and tools still intact. After market compact disk player that was integrated superbly and full working VDO factory gauges with no issues whatsoever. She runs and drives terrific and has lots of new mechanical items recently done including suspension, brakes, starter and more. Her carburetor is a redline downdraft Weber that starts every time. All her electrical is in great working order including turn signals, horn, headlamps, interior dome, brights and more. Plenty of paperwork and lots of extras including a new dash cap and euro rear bumper to match the front one that was already replaced. Glass is nice all around and she comes with rear defrost as well. Not a perfect show car by any means but flaws are minimal with just a few spots on her paint and some hairline cracks on her dash. Trim is complete and holding up well overall. A very dependable little 2002 that should make any collector happy and a lot of fun on the open road.
