3.5 L V-6 engine runs great, but the transmission started slipping a few months ago. Has 199,780 miles, many are highway miles. "Book" value is roughly $4000.00 with the trans fixed. Tires: 2 have approx. 75% tread (one year old), and 2 have approx. 50% tread (2 years old). Front struts and rear shocks were replaced approx. 3 years ago. New in past year: Idle Air Control valve, Throttle Position Sensor, front and rear brakes, rear brake drums, front lower control arms, spark plugs, rear motor mount, passenger side motor mount, transaxle mount. Also in the past year: front end alignment, carbon deposits cleaned out of the EGR ports and the intake manifold, and the throttle body and Mass Air Flow sensor were cleaned.
