Vehicle Detail

This beautiful red 1965 Mustang coupe is a 4 speed with a 289 V8. This 4 speed has been rebuilt and a new clutch with less than 1500 miles on them. I have owned this car for a little over 4 years and the transmission is the only repair that I have made. The engine runs great I have never had any problems. When I bought this car in 09 the transmission was having some problems. This is when I had a transmission shop rebuild it and put a new clutch in it. I have the receipt from the shop on this work. There is a leak on one of the lines for the power steering I have recently noticed some fluid on the garage floor. If you have ever driven one of these Mustangs with a 4 speed the seats don't move back very far. I had a shop tack weld a couple of pieces of angle iron on the bottom of the drivers seat so it could go back farther. This can be removed from the bottom of the seat if needed. The exterior of this car is very nice but it does have some blemishes. The back fenders have been repaired at some point because if you stand at certain angles you can see that the paint does not match perfectly. There is a small hairline crack on the drivers side back fender. As you can see in the pictures the car has a nice shine. There is a small chip in the paint on the passenger door I will have a picture of this. There is a small hole by the mirror I guess from a old mirror. I will also have a picture of this. The wheels and tires are still in good shape. The interior is in good shape there are no tears in any of the seats. The headliner is in good shape sometimes on the highway one of the rods that holds it up will rotate down. I just rotate it back up when ever this happens. The lighter doesn't work and the radio works fine but the power antenna stays up all the time. I have tried to include everything that I know about this car feel free to ask any questions. I have recently had back surgery and just can't drive this car very often anymore. All sales are final and require a $500 to hold the car at the end of the auction. This car is to be picked up only. There is no warranty and sale is as is. If you would like to view or drive the car locally feel free to contact me. I do reserve the right to end the auction early. On Jul-13-13 at 18:33:53 PDT, seller added the following information: I had a couple of people stop and drive the car and asked if this is the actual miles. I posted on this sale what the odometer reading was but have no idea about original miles. The title has asterisk on the mileage part.
