1947 Cadillac in good condition for it's age. This car has been stored for the past 30 years with just occasional driving. It has had the original engine replaced with a 1971 Cadillac V-8 and 1971 transmission. The car drives and handles great. The engine swap was done proffessionally and fits in the engine compartment well but tight. There is a crack in the driver's side exhaust manifold. The seats of the car are in very good condition as is the headliner. The carpet is original and shows wear especially on the drivers side. The sun visors are in good condition. It has the original radio but does not work. All the windows crank up and down really well as does the wing windows. All the glass is in good condition with the exception of both wing windows, they each have a crack in them. The arm rest on the drivers side also shows signs of wear. The steering wheel has cracks, the shift knob is missing and the turn signal knob is pitted. The interior chrome is in very good condition, the exterior chrome is solid but has rust pits on most. All 4 hubcaps are on the car and are in good shape, the front ones are better than the rear as the rear ones have rust pitting. The tires are in good shape, lots of tread. There is one dent on the car and that is on the drivers side rear fender on top. It looks as though someone dropped something on it. All the metal is solid, the doors all close tight as well as the hood and trunk. This car can be agreat driver or is solid and mostly original enough (except the engine and trans) to be restored.
