Survivor Scout Project. Good Title. Engine was seized. I bought an International 304 engine (not yet installed) and I am including the engine stand. I am spending all my spare time on a '79 Scout II and need to sell all my older Scout stuff. Buy this red '68 all wheel drive and get my '70 all wheel drive with it. Between both of these you'll have lots of options. The '70 had the Doll Up package for extra trim, and automatic transmission, but the sheet metal on the '68 is in much better shape. It has the famous 3 speed. You've seen how much you can spend on sheet metal for these Scouts. Sometimes a good fender can cost $500. Comes with an original Scout back seat (another $500.) These are becoming very rare. Front seats in the '68 are the original seats, they need reupholstered. Also comes with a roll bar and new, uninstalled fuel tanks. Both tops are in good shape, but the one on the '70 is probably a little better. Many spare parts, including an extra radiator, shroud, and a tail gate so you'll get 3 tail gates total and a set of chrome corvette type wheels that are becoming really rare. The rear view mirrors on the '68 are also rare. I included a photo so you could see the shape of them and the IH brand. Bad news is, all old Scouts eventually need the new floor kits welded in. Hasn't been done on the '68 yet and there are places you can see through. Good luck. If you don't want to haul 2 vehicles, I have plenty of room for you to strip all the best parts and a way for you to haul what's left to the crusher.
