Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Real nice, low mileage 1983 GL100 Goldwing Interstate. 29,698 original miles. Runs and drives real nice. Lots of mechanical/maintenance work done on this bike in the last couple years, as follows: carbs synchronized, new timing belts installed, final drive disassembled, checked and lubed with moly, final drive filled with Amsoil synthetic gear oil, Harley Sportster mufflers installed (not loud, just nice mellow tone), new speedometer cable, new brakes in front and rear, rebuilt rear brake master cylinder, new front brake master cylinder, new water pump, hoses, thermostat and fan relay, spin on oil filter adapter and oil dipstick installed, extra wide touring windshield installed, Kuryakyn ISO hand grips, leaking rear air shocks have been replaced with Progressive adjustable spring shocks, driver’s backrest, passenger arm rests, highway pegs, sealed beam headlight, has air horns, some LED lights ( not all – had to retain regular bulbs in directionals for self canceling feature to function and retained regular bulb in rear brake light ‘cause it was much brighter/more visible), AM/Fm radio and cassette player work and sound nice, has CB and intercom but have never tried it so don’t know if they function (don’t have helmet mic.). Bike still has mostly the original paint and is fairly good (still shiny) but has some nicks, scratches, blemishes after 30 yrs. of wear and tear which is fairly visible in the pictures. Some minor cracks on fairing, but still rock solid. Cover on saddlebags and rear trunk were painted a satin black and have some blemishes on them but look pretty good yet. Front and rear tire have good tread yet but do have some minor checking in the sidewalls from age (about 8 yrs old). The seat is original and in pretty good shape – there are a couple spots where a little section of seam has separated – very minor though near edge of driver's portion of seat.
