This 55 Ford Fairlane Crown Victoria has seen it's share of car shows Campaigned heavily throughout the 90's it had garnered more than 50 awards ( which I have), many first place also. But the old girl was retired around the year 2000 and just used for cruise nights and fun on the weekends goin' for ice cream. It is time to pass the torch onto another loving car enthusiast to take care of her and have some fun. We acquired her recently and promised to find a good home for her Equipped with a factory stock 272 V8 that starts easily with a turn of the key. Runs well and is sooth and quiet. Dual exhaust sure sounds good and is a comfortable driver. There is a few chrome items on the engine from her show days, including valve covers, air cleaner, fan shroud, pulleys, oil dipstick etc. Just a very nice old Crown that will give a new owner the opportunity to continue enjoying ownership of this Ford. Power steering sure makes it nice to drive. We have just completed a full brake rebuild...4 new wheel cylinders , all brake hold down and return spring kits, new front brake hoses, new linings on all 4 corners and all drums machined/resurfaced... The exterior finish is very good and is painted a charcoal black/dark grey metallic and has very few blemishes The interior is black and in very good condition in all areas As for trim . the chrome and stainless is very good also. The trunk has been fully custom fitted with carpet and a spare tire cover. If I can say anything that is derogatory about this car , the only thing is some of the floor braces were getting rusty and we repaired them in our shop( see pics)... and the transmission leaves it's mark when you park it overnight This is an honest assessment of a good Crown Victoria.
