Vehicle Detail

A classic motorcycle which is close to 90% Original Factory Condition. Has not been ridden much since 2010, stored in a garage. She starts easily.. The mileage listed is what is on the clock. It is not actual. In 2007, my carport collapsed on my car and the bike. The damage to the bike was all to the Vetter faring, bag set and trunk. Actually, that stuff saved her from further damage. The speedo took a hit and I replaced it with a used one, stripped off all the vetter stuff and restored her to how she might have looked UN-crated for the first time. I had never used the Original seat nor had the original owner, It is boxed and like new. My insurance company gave me $2500 for the bike claiming a total loss. I bought back the bike for $500 and that is why the title has "reconstructed" or whatever on it. After the carport collapse and removal of the snow, then the removal of all the vetter stuff, she fired right up and I took her for some great rides until 2010, when I got a new job that required nothing but travel. I have built a workshop where she has kept dry and warm since. I'd start her up and made a very few short trips, but other than that, she has been dormant. That is why the fuel issue is present I do believe. No visible rust in the tank nor the filter, which has all been changed. I've rebuilt the brakes, carbs and electrics but she does have that fuel related misfire. Some tinkering required to get her purring again. Drove her over to get fresh fuel and the idle improved. Added a touch of MMO and more improvement. Only 2000 of this model were sold in the US. Gold anodized rims and lots of extra factory chrome gives her the LTD badge. I've the original purchase Owners manual and a certificate of purchase..... somewhere. Still looking. Many spare parts including the Original Seat (boxed and like new), a Corbin gunfighter is on her now. A carb synch gauge set, extra wheels, Ogio Bags etc.etc. She could be ridden home, but I'd have a backup plan in place if the ride is long. Have fun bidding. The winner will get a bike he or she can be proud to own. She always gathers a group when parked at a watering hole. BTW, the steering lock still works, a good thing, and I have installed a mystery start button that would confound most nefarious types. A hidden in plain sight kind of thing.
