Vehicle Detail
Originally posted as no rust. There is no rust damage to the frame or body, but there is some rust present on the undercarriage. There is surface rust on some portions under the truck bed as well as some surface oxidation on the leaf springs. I have photos of this to make your own assessment. The spots under the truck bed are minor in their advancement and have not damaged the integrity of the metal. The condition of the springs is nothing beyond a normal car on the road today. Again, I can email photos at your request. I also have had many questions about the motor. The motor is not mounted, supposedly ran at the time it was transferred, but now sits on our bolts in the engine compartment. It is too much engine for this truck without modifications. The buyer would most likely have to plan for purchasing a smaller motor, closer to the specs of the original, for installation. I will send the motor with the truck, but to purchase this vehicle with intent on using it might not be the best idea. For sale is a very good condition 1963 Dodge M37 Military Truck. New canvass top, new paint job, gas cans, bucket seats. No rust on body and original tires along with the "suicide"/split rims. The vehicle has been stored in a garage since I took ownership and it is in really good physical condition. The vehicle is a project vehicle. A disconnected 308 engine is under the hood and the drive train is disassembled. The brake lines, master cylinders, wiring harnesses, and gauges all need to be installed. I have the original gauges with protective plate as well as a few Rubbermaid containers full of miscellaneous parts. A common price for a truck in this condition hovers around $6,000. I am selling this one for $3,500, but you will need to pick it up. I am able to tow it within 100 miles of my current location with no charge. If you have any questions or would like specific photos feel free to ask at any time. Again, I will tow the truck up to 100 miles and I will give you up to a month to pick it up after purchase is verified. I realize North Dakota isn't next door to many people and would likely take time to get transportation lined up. And for the caveats...
