Up for Auction is a fantastic 1990 Honda CBR 1000F Hurricane with approx 45K miles. I've been across country on this bike, and have soft saddle bags I'll include in the sale. Oil & filter has just been changed at the shop 25 miles ago. Brakes redone back in 2011, clutch was just checked during oil change, and the mechanic said it was in great shape. Honestly the bike has only been minimally ridden approx 100 miles over the last two years... The reason I'm selling her is I race bicycles, and would just rather train on my bicycles then take this out for a ride... Don't get me wrong b/c its a great bike for the long haul weighing in at just under 600lbs dry. I wouldn't hesitate to scoot anywhere within a 500 mile trek on this bike during three of our season months up North here, cause she's reliable, a lot of fun, very stable, comfortable, and has great pick up for a 23 yr old motorcycle.(She'll go 160+.) This bike has an adj shock, *Throttle Lock* for those longer rides (a must), new SHINKO Radial tires with only about 3-400 miles on them at most > F- 120x70x17", R- 170x60x17", a new battery, she starts right up, and once she's warmed up she purrs like a kitten... I'm the second owner, have only gently laid the bike down at a stop just once myself back in 2004 while in a rain storm and fatigued... I had come to a stop at an off ramp hill seeking shelter, was tired, and lost my balance, as I fought her gently to the ground. Most all wear, and scrapes I've tried to show in the pics.... Odometer has just stopped working last month when I took her out for the first time this year, and the mechanic I saw just recently said it was a little plastic gear that needed replacing. This Bike will be SOLD "AS IS", with no Returns....Its a Honda though, and from the miles really has just been broken in.Would be happy to deliver within 100 miles. I was going to sell it to someone down South recently, and was even willing to take a ride down to NC, and meet him for pickup even just to show how reliable the bike is, but he's still thinking about it. Never the less A non refundable Down Payment of $500 must be made within 3 days via Paypal, and then stop on by with the rest in cash, and we'll go from there. I am also selling this bike locally, so I reserve the right to end this auction prematurely.
