For sale is a 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible that has spent it's entire life in the San Francisco California area before being brought up to N.Y. by it's new owner in 2008. There are a lot of vintage cars out there that look fantastic but are a big disappointment to drive. This is not one of them. This vehicle is a Joy to drive. This car drives straight and true with no funny smells or noises. This car does not run hot, and it will idle fine all day long. The belts do not moan or squeal and the Power steering and brakes work as they should. No exhaust leaks and no unwarranted vibrations. The interior does not fill up with carbon monoxide, but the best part of this vehicle is it's totally un-molested undercarriage and interior. The convertible top is newer, the power top works fine and the internal ribbing is perfect with no rust or corrosion. (Look at the pix.) All original 289 and transmission. The factory color is called Sauterne Gold but looks more of a misty green. This is a no excuses car, the paint shows very nicely. The chrome is in excellent condition. The reddish brown paint on the underside of the vehicle is the original factory undercoating. Original owners manual (with dealership name and original owner inscribed) and black plates go with the car. This is a San Jose, California built car.You don't find to many of these anymore, and selling at NO RESERVE! I have 100% feedback and have sold a few high priced vintage cars so bid with confidence!
