The previous owner, for reasons that are unknown to us, replaced the odometer. The total mileage is thus 90,000+ miles. The car is in good condition for its age and has not been used much in the last 4 years. It has been properly maintained (and loved) throughout our 20 years of ownership. History of the 1982 Corvette:The final year of the shark body. There were just a little more than 25400 produced (who knows how many are still on the road after 29 years). The last of the Sharks previewed the next Corvette's drive train: a revised L83 engine 350 with Cross-Fire fuel injection - the first "fuelie" Vette since 1965.On Jun-23-13 at 13:26:49 PDT, seller added the following information: Update: the gear shift indicator (P-R-D) stopped working. The transmission is fully functioning. It is simply the indicator that does not work - likely a simple fix and going to ask our mechanic to take a look at it on Monday. Additionally, just noticed that the driver's side electric window is not working. Going to have the mechanic take a look at that as well.
