You are bidding on a 1978 Chevrolet Corvette 25th Anniversary Edition Coupe. The vehicle was traded locally through our facility and has been in the same owner's hands for the last 10 years. The vehicle seems to run great, and the motor sounds amazing, but we don't know the full condition of the vehicle mechanically. Feel free to complete any inspections, but we are sure the vehicle's winning bidder will be happy. The Corvette's original color was shown as "white" and now has been repainted to a very nice "iroc blue." The paint is not brand new, but looks like it has been completed within the last 5 years from our viewing. The vehicle has a few paint chips on the rear bumper (side) and the side fender well area. It is not a 10 out of 10, but it definitely has a great look, and seems to sound amazing!! The vehicle information is as follows: Exterior Condition: Fairly new paint in "iroc blue," original Chevrolet Corvette center caps, all original 25th Anniversary front and rear emblems, BF Goodrich Radial TA Tires, Lower aluminum side skirts (original). Interior Condition: Air Conditioning, Power Windows, Temperature Gauge, Clock, Oil Gauge, Battery Gauge, Black Leatherette Seats, Fairly new black carpeting, T-Tops (Condition of weather stripping unknown as for any leaks). Mechanical Condition: Strong V8 Motor. We are not positive if the vehicle has a 350-V8 motor or not. It sounds great, and the vehicle runs down the road great. There is a brake light on, and we are pretty sure it is related to the Emergency Brake cable, as this unit does not function properly. We can help with any discount shipping worldwide. On Jun-22-13 at 17:48:33 PDT, seller added the following information: Added Note: The dealership today turned the headlights on the 1978 Chevrolet 25th Anniversary Corvette, and the headlight display that pops up did not work. The headlights, themselves turn on, but the mechanism to allow the headlights to pop up did not function. We are not sure what the problem is, but if the winning bidder would like to repair this part of the vehicle, it would gladly be completed at our discounted pricing. We have researched some of these faults and have found that the majority of the issues are more likely wiring to the motors, instead of the motors themselves. We just want to be clear on this for all potential winning bidders.
