Thank you for viewing my 1976 Volkswagen Beetle. This car is in running and driving condition. The fuel injected engine runs great and always starts. The transmission shift through the gears and the clutch feels good too. All of the lights and gauges work except one reverse light. The radio turns on however there is no sound. This car appears to be in original condition with the exception of the wheels which are a period correct aluminum alloy. The paint is the original gold however it was likely resprayed. The paint is oxidized and has chips and scratches however the body is very straight. The overall look is a nice patina. There is a little rust moslty around the rear window. The pans appear to be solid and the battery pan was professionaly replaced.The brakes work well. The tires are a couple years old however they have good tread. The interior of the car is rough and should be replaced. This car does have a sunroof however the previous owner used sealant around the edges. The ball joints should be replaced and a battery will be needed to drive the car. I am selling the car because it did not pass emissions due to it was running rich and the pipe that connects the egr valve to the exhaust needs replacement. The is a great start to owning a great bug. It even has the original blue plates. The buyer can pick the car up or arrange shipping and I will do all I can to help. Feel free to ask questions.
