Vehicle Detail

I had listed this as a local sale but now I'm listing as an auction. If you saw the local listing I have new information that I'm posting here. I thought the car had a 3.1L but it's actually a 5.0. Also, the car report shows two accidents. The first one was moderate damage but it was fully repaired (hit in rear) and the second was a fender-bender (also repaired) that my wife does not even remember, so it must not have been significant. 1991 Chevy Camaro RS Convertible. My wife is the original owner and obviously at 166,720 miles she got her money's worth. We've held onto it with the idea that we might restore it some day but between the economy and other priorities we just can't justify the expense. This car was garage-kept for much of it's life, but as you can see in the pictures, the Florida sun takes its toll on everything when it's outside. The car will start and I drove it to its present location about a year ago. However, I wouldn't drive it very far. It definitely needs a brake job. If you buy it and drive it away you do so at your own risk. We do not have the ability to ship or deliver this car. You buy it, you move it. If you buy it from out of state you can arrange to have it picked up and we'll cooperate with you. I would consider this a definite project car. The dashboard top is cracked and the interior is a little rough. The AC turns on but I don't know if it blows cold. The catalytic converter makes noise until the car warms up, etc. etc. As such things go we've gotten multiple offers to buy it over the last few years, but now that we're ready to sell no one has said anything. They definitely don't make them like this any more and I think it would be a lot of fun to drive around once you get it all cleaned up and back in shape. It was driven regularly until about 3 years ago. No returns. You buy it, it's yours. Car needs to be picked up or shipping arranged by the buyer within two weeks. There is no reserve. On Jun-03-13 at 06:40:05 PDT, seller added the following information: I've put a video of the car on YouTube. You can search for 1991 Chevy Camaro RS Oviedo FL or my user name 'wiking44'. I took the video this morning. Here is the link - not sure if EBay will allow it. http://youtu.be/hAZsQ6qb2GYOn Jun-03-13 at 06:42:10 PDT, seller added the following information: Also, the car report shows 2 owners. This is because my wife put it in her mother's name when she was living overseas. She really is the only owner. Thanks. On Jun-03-13 at 09:12:08 PDT, seller added the following information: When I tried to turn on the AC today I could hear it turning on and the engine cycled down as expected, but there was no air blowing. The panel inside is loose and it's possible some of the vacuum tubes need to be re-worked.
