Here we have a 1972 BMW R60/5. Matching numbers, project bike. Not running but mostly complete. . A full restoration is suggested. The engine kicks over and has some compression, the transmission shifts, it does not have any major crash damage [ frame and forks are straight]. Gas tank doesn't have any dents but has pinholes and will need a liner. Carbs will need work but are not frozen. brakes are fine but missing the front cable. the electrical components are present but it needs a wiring harness. I will dig up more odds and ends to go with it like taillight and plug wires horn ect. and get a picture before auctions end. I have a barn full of Airhead parts so please inquire if you need any additional parts. And for the sale, Please ask all questions prior to bidding. The Title has been lost and it was last registered in California in 2007 so there will be DMV fees, how much, I don't know. I will provide a bill of sale and can get it notorized at buyers expense if needed. A non refundable deposit of $300 is due within 24 hours close of auction and balance due within 7 days auctions end. I can keep the bike here for a reasonable amount of time while shipping arangements are made. I will ship worldwide and can help with arrangements but shipping is the sole responsibility of buyer. I can deliver for $1 per loaded mile or I will drop it off at your preferred shipper, if located in the greater Los Angeles area at no additional charge.
