You are looking at My 1979 Honda CX500 with just shy of 21,000 miles All original condition. I purchased this from a co-worker last year who had been ridding it up till a year before he sold it to me. I have put approximately 400 miles on it since. Upon purchasing I have performed the following maintenance; valve adjustment, cam chain tension adjustment, carburetor synchronization, new spark plugs, coolant flush and new coolant, and oil and filter change. Have also installed a new battery, and changed out the final drive gear oil. Bike starts, runs, and drives excellent! No unusual noises, shifts smoothly. No leaks, charging system/regulator good, cooling system performs well. The age of the tires are unknown they appear in good shape and do not leak. Only issues with the bike are the front fork seals are seeping, and the speedometer quit working yesterday when I took it out for its first time this year, last fall the Speedo would make small howling noises when you would first start out so I knew it was on its way out. Have not researched into it yet at this time. I will include a set of fork seals new in package with bike, or I can change them out along with new fluid for and additional $100 for the new owner if he / she choose so. This being described as best of my knowledge, this is still a 34 year old- Bike Please note this is an older Bike and although in great shape considering her age please expect some imperfections.
