Selling my daughter's rare stock unmodified 1996 Honda Civic DX Hatchback with Automatic Transmission. The Civic has 169,800 miles on the chassis and 119,000 miles on the engine. The front wheel drive Civic has the base 4 cyl 1.6L SOHC 16V engine. EPA MPG mileage estimate rates the Civic up to 36 MPG. The Civic runs and handles good, is clean, and has been well maintained. The Civic had been a two owner car. Would not hesitate to drive the car anywhere. State Inspection sticker doesn't expire until Jan 2014. The four speed automatic transmission shifts through gears smoothly. The original base engine was recently replaced with another base engine with 119k on it. The timing belt & water pump at that time had been replaced. The matching P175 70R 13” BF Goodrich radial tires are almost new and still have at least 90% Treadlife remaining. The exterior paint still has a good shine with only minor dings & scratches. The strut towers, undercarriage & floorpan are rustfree. Areas on the rear quarters that are prone to rust have been repaired. There are a few paint blisters along the front of the hood. The paint on the plastic front bumper is faded, and there is some of the clear-coating coming off along the top edge of the drivers side door. The interior is in good condition for the year. The interior carpeting, mats & upholstery are clean and in overall good condition. There is no broken or cracked glass. The lights, turn signals, wipers, and heating controls all work fine. Is equipped with an AM/FM radio and CD Player. The Civic has a Carfax Vehicle History Report, and a clear Maine Title. Along with a Bill of Sale, the original factory 1996 Owners Manual, and a Haynes Civic Service Book is included.
