2002 Chevrolet Tahoe LT Sport Utility 4-Door 5.3L 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe 4X4 LT For Sale by Owner I love this truck but recently leased a BMW 3-series thats more practical for my daily commute and cant justify keeping this Tahoe in the driveway. I bought it in 2012 for $7K from Mercedes Benz of Beverly Hills (they acquired as a customer trade-in) and put almost $1,600 into it immediately, including full line flush, preventative carbon build up engine treatment and 4 brand new Wrangler P265/70R17 tires installed by Felix Chevrolet in Downtown Los Angeles in March 2012 (see paid invoice at end of photos). Oil changed recently (also by Felix). If I had a ranch to retire this truck on instead of selling it I would do it in a heartbeat. 174,500 miles Tons of features: leather, heated power seats, power locks, CD, cassette, Onstar, dimming mirror with homelink garage opener, full air bags, keyless entry, fog lights, factory running boards, roof rack, cargo cover and trailer hitch. Powerful 5.3 liter Vortec V-8 engine, automatic transmission, 4-wheel drive, and cruise control. Exterior color is a gold/champagne and the leather interior is a light tan. This is a beautiful, well cared for, fully optioned truck. Only interior note is that the A/C seems like it should be colder on hot days. This may be something to have looked to see if a hose is disconnected or if the unit needs to be recharged. I wasnt driving the truck enough to hassle with perfecting the air conditioning. The exterior paint is worth noting in a couple places: 1) theres a scratch along the left hand panels of the vehicle (view from featured picture #1), 2) theres a small dent in the right front hood (also visible in pictures), 3) the passenger side mirror has a scuff (also visible in pictures) and 4) the right rear bumper recently backed into a bollard at a local farmers market at approximately 5 mph leaving the pictured small dents in bumper and rear body panel of the vehicle. Its not without cosmetic flaws, but the paint and general exterior look very good for a 10-yr old car. I input the options, mileage and zip code into Kelley Blue Book (KBB) online and received the following suggested values for a private party sale: Excellent - $6,775 Very Good - $6,450 Good - $6,275 Fair - $5,500 Given the strong mechanical performance, new tires and noted maintenance schedule observed, Im hoping the truck will command a price in the good to very good range.
