1966 Chevy C 10 long bed pick up Clean title in hand and registration just paid. This vehicle runs great & starts first turn every time even on a cold morning. Brakes are solid all the way around as well. We are only the second owner on this truck. It was special ordered in 1966 from the dealership in Elk Grove California. It only has 138K original miles on it. It has a factory installed 327 small block with a power-glide two speed transmission..all original with the tow package included...trailer light plug works as well. Motor and transmission are very strong and were rebuilt before we aquired the truck. The original Rochester carb was rebuilt as well....this truck is a rare specimen these days...no hack mods... all original Interior and very little surface rust... it is a prime candidate for a full restoration. Here's a list of all the new things we have done for the truck...it has a brand-new windshield with rubber seal, a new fan belt, oil and filter recently changed, emergency brake parts fixed, new front brake lines ,transmission fluid pumped and replaced, brand-new Monroe shocks all zerk fittings grease and checked. Tune up done with new msd coil,cap and rotor + jegs plug wires Things that need TLC Wipers don't work Bed is functional but wood is rotting and needs to be replaced. Drivers door lock is fickle Rear main seal has a small Leak at start up...( never loses more than 1/8 quart between oil changes) This is a special truck that needs a good garaged indoor home... If I had room I would just keep her.... This is an awesome truck and I'm not desperate to sell it.. I want to make sure it goes to the right home! We have have had many questions about the paint on the driver side bed...here is all the info I have: The entire front cab, doors top etc is all original paint through and through....we believe the bed must have been re sprayed at some point prior in its lifetime...although there is positively no signs of damage to the bed and no bondo whatsoever...unfortunately I don't have any further details from the previous owner regarding this.
