1998 black Jetta GL for sale with black leather interior. I am the second owner. I purchased it off the original owner, an old veteran who put 80,000 miles on the vehicle in 06. He kept the vehicle in great condition. He kept receipts for all the repairs he had on the vehicle, which I will give to you. I've kept some of the more expensive receipts but not all. I don't use the vehicle much in the city so I've decided to sell it.There was an engine malfunction at 100,000 miles and the engine needed to be replaced. Its new engine has 48,000.I've recently put another $2000 into it, fixing up the muffler, and one of the axles, a new motor for wipers, and as mentioned the engine. The mechanic said the underbelly looks great. I don't see any repairs in the near future. The transmission feels great (no sticks/slips) and the break pads and tires are in excellent condition (i'd say about half used). The only serious physical blemish is there's about an inch crack on the side view mirrors shell (not the mirror itself). The body has normal minor scuffs and scratches from regular use, but as you can see the in picture, they are not really noticeable unless light hits the vehicle at the right angle. The body is in great condition otherwise. You will need to check the vehicle every 6 months or so to ensure no small rust spots need sand/primer/paint. The vehicle's interior is also in great condition as you can see from the pictures. I have kept it clean, and I am a non-smoker.
