Up for auction is my Honda Helix scooter. For those who know little about the Helix it was the first real Maxi-scooter. It is in fine condition but not without the standard minor scrapes that it picked up over 19 years of use. Not abuse, it has never been dumped. At the end of last Fall It got a brand new carburetor and battery. About a year before that It got a nice new windshield. It runs just fine. Had it out today and realized again why I like it so much. It sits low, its quiet and powerful and , to use the words of a friend, its like driving a sofa. There is nothing better for a splendid drive in the country. It also has the reliability that made it one of the winners several years ago in the famous cross country iron butt rally. It will top out at 60-65 mph. Some say it will do 70mph but not comfortably. You could put it on the interstate but I prefer not to. After all ,the cars and trucks are moving at 70-75mph and being a low, slower , small target is not to my liking. Notice that it has an added passenger backrest and a zippered small bag behind the seat. The last picture shows that I recently nailed the tail light and knocked a small piece out in the garage. You could replace the plastic for about $25. I would prefer not to ship it but will gladly help you push it up on a trailer.
