Museum Quality. Completely rebuilt 1979 Triumph Bonneville T-140E. Every part taken down to frame, cleaned, powder blasted, powder coated or rechromed and rebuilt. Engine and transmission professionally rebuilt by Carl Donnelson of Donnelson Cycles himself. New bearings, valves, seals, etc. Screws, bolts and nuts where necessary replaced with 18-8 stainless or chrome. Completely rewired. Has all original Lucas, Veglia and of course Triumph parts, badges and decals. Has rare English Tank with English badge and English slicer License Plate. Also has English handle bars. Original brown leather handlebar bag with original tools. New old stock brown leather seat. Ceramic heat wrapped exhaust with shorty mufflers. Great sound! 15,000 original miles on bike. About 300 miles since rebuild. Fully safety inspected and licensed. Looks and runs like a bike right off the show room floor. This is the bike Steve Mcqueen made famous in the Great Escape. It won the Bonneville Salt Flats Speed records. Extremely fast with unbelievable acceleration. I would only recommend for the serious, experienced rider and or collector. I do have all the receipts to prove the work was done. (Some photos was taken before the silencers were installed.) I have clear title in my possession plus all receipts and several manuals.
