Vehicle Detail

The Magic Bus is up for sale! This is a 1961 International Travelall C-110 Custom. She has a freshly rebuilt 304 V-8 that runs perfect, and a rebuilt Borg-Warner 3 speed transmission with a smooth shifting overdrive. New tires, complete exhaust, rebuilt Holley 2300 2bb carb, new dual master cylinder, brand new clutch, and tie-rods. I've owned her for 13 years now and have had a blast driving the old girl to go snow skiing at Mammoth, rock climbing at Joshua Tree, and surfing up and down California coastline. I've completed all the mechanical work including the new engine and tranny mentioned above. The sweet T-85n overdrive transmission is a pleasure to drive! Just shift up to 2nd gear, then drop down to 3rd, and when you reach freeway speed, all you have to do is let up on the gas for a second and she eases into overdrive! The body is really straight with the exception of the right front fender that I dented backing out of an awning, a small hole below the grill from a trailer hitch, and 1 ding in the side, and 1 ding in the roof. The front seat needs either a bench seat cover or to be redone, the fold forward rear seat is still good. Both of the driver side windows with flat glass should be easy to replace, 1 has a crack, 1 has a hole. All other glass is good. Especially, the 2 wrap around rear windows, windshield, and electric rear window. This old truck gets so much attention, everyone whats to stop and talk about her. Although she could use new paint and front seat cover, she needs nothing to drive her anywhere you'd like. However, in doing my best to describe her faults, I missed one thing...the headlight switch is only giving me running lights at the moment. I hope to have it fixed "shortly" no pun intended. All in all the Magic Bus is a solid truck and should easily go another 50 years! The starting bid is just what I've spent for the new engine and tranny, $4000.00. I will help you arrange shipping at your expense. Good luck and I hope you have as much fun as I have! As this truck is also for sale locally, I reserve the right to end auction early in case it sells.
