MECHANICS SPECIAL Up for auction with no reserve is a 1997 BMW 540I with a 6 speed transmission. This was a car we took in trade. The customer told us it did not run and he was told by his mechanic it needed a motor. At the present time there is just a clicking noise when you try to start it. We are not exactly sure what the problem is. Overall the vehicle appears to be in very good condition. It only has 82,795 original miles. The color is black on black. It has a set of BBS wheels on the driver’s side and appears to have factory wheels on the passenger side. The 2 BBS wheels that belong on the passenger side are damaged and they can’t be fixed. The body is in very good condition and a couple of minor chips on the bumper covers. Overall the paint is in excellent condition and it doesn’t appear this vehicle has had any paint work done. The interior is also in great condition. Everything functions properly other than the left rear window you can hear the motor but the window doesn’t go up. This vehicle will be sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied. Please note as the listing reads it might need a motor. We are not a repair shop. The car does not run it will have to be picked up on a trailer or flatbed. We have a clear Florida title and 2 sets of keys. The car will be sold with no reserve. HIS GUESS IS THE CAR MUST HAVE OVERHEATED AND BLEW A HEAD GASKET. HE GOT THE CAR STARTED AND IT RUNS. WHITE SMOKE CAME FROM THE EXHUST AND IT SMELLS LIKE ANTIFREEZE. THE CAR NOW CAN BE DRIVEN ONTO A TRAILER OR A CAR HAULER.
