1974 Amc javelin , 6cyl , 3 speed manual, 64k orig miles runs and drives excellent ......Body has few rust bubbles here and there but nothing major , under carriage is not too bad either, trunk looks clean ...Looks to be orig paint from what i can tell....Interior is pretty clean , no rips in the seats, little sun fade on side of passenger seat or else they would be mint, , headliner looks very nice , dash is clean , carpet pretty clean , back seat is really nice , still retains the factory 8 track player , all lights work , horn works , not too bad...The 6 cyl motor runs like a watch , no noises , no oil burning , the trans mission shifts great , i imagine the clutch is pretty old but no grinding going into gear and goes down the road great, the brakes work good, the exterior lights all work good....Car rides really well and could be driven home...Guy i got it from recently took it on a couple hundred mile ride with no issues....Has aluminum american racing wheels on it and the originals are in the trunk...I know its not a big v8 car but this car runs great and could be a cheap summer cruiser for the family, its unique ..The little 6cyl pulls this car along really well..Drive while you restore it... car is sold as -is no warranty expressed or implied , inspections are welcome and i will make the time for you to come if want to...I try to be as straight as i can when describing these cars because its the only thing your going on, and obviously if there is some major discrepancy in the description i wont hold you to it...Just know it is an old car and will have hidden flaws like any old vehicle..Thanks and good luck Car is priced to sell... Call or text 413-329-four622 for any questionsOn May-06-13 at 12:32:34 PDT, seller added the following information: I have to apologize to all the bidders , The drivers seat does have a spot in it where the stitch has come apart and some damage on the bolster....I dropped the price to reflect the damage , i'm sure a shop or someone with some sewing skills could fix it pretty readily, but it is there and wanted to make mention of it..The rest of the interior is Mint , carpet is mint , Dash board / pad is mint , rear seat and package tray , headliner , sun visors etc ,pretty much everything in the interior looks excellent besides the drivers seat and the sun fade on the passenger side from sitting...again my apologies for the mistake...I got a quote locally for $150 or so to fix it right , i dropped the price $700 , that should make everyone ok...Car fired right up great like it always does...The 8 track does work fine as well as everything else.On May-06-13 at 15:05:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Evidently A lot of questions have been getting asked that i am not receiving , I rarely use my old email account , good thing i checked......
