1959 TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE PRE UNIT T-120 This is very rare Bonneville with correct and matching numbers. The original frame, engine, and transmission, remain as they were in 1958. The bike would provide a sound basis for a restoration of a beautiful pre unit Bonneville. The bike had the misfortune of becoming a drag race bike during its lifetime. Fortunately the primary and most important components were left intact. No history or specifications are available of its racing history. This bike has not been started for many years and has been on display in a museum during that time. We have been fortunate to have a knowledgeable and reliable source confirm that the machine is a correct matching numbers bike, built in 1958.It could be kept in its present configuration or ideally returned to its former glory and original form. In its current state the bike has light weight front alloy wheel, with dual disk brakes, a large rear disk, and over size rear tire. Custom alloy oil tank, Sportster fuel tank, GP style rear fender assembly, Z bars, megaphones, The engine, transmission, and frame have no apparent external damage, other than a small hole drilled in the frame neck to accommodate an electrical wire.
