DESCRIPTION For sale is an excellent condition 1989 BMW 325I with complete "IS" conversion done (including front and rear spoiler, and interior mirror). It has 113k original miles with a clean title and Carfax. Never abused, always garaged. Runs and drives excellent. All services are up to date and there are many upgraded parts that have been installed within the last 1,000 miles (listed below). This is a true specimen of this year and model. It is in excellent shape for a 24 year old car, showing less than average wear and tear. It comes with the original owner's manual and thousands of dollars in receipts. It has also been recently smogged. Please contact me with any questions prior to bidding. Bid with confidence! CAR DETAILS ENGINE It has a 2.5L 6 cylinder engine. The engine runs excellent. All service and maintenance has been done. The complete upper end of the engine has been rebuilt. A complete valve job has been done with $1,800 in receipts. New timing belt, water pump, radiator, complete cooling system, alternator, high performance ignition wires and belt tensioners. It also has a K&N air filtration system. TRANSMISSION It has the original 5 speed manual transmission. It goes into all the gears perfectly with no slipping issues. INTERIOR It has a new Light Tan Leatherette interior. It is in excellent condition with no cuts or tears in the seats. The carpets are clean and not soiled. The dash does have some cracks but are covered by a dash mat. There are also two small tears in the headliner, one near the rear and another on the sunroof cover. Installed is an M-Tech 1 steering wheel with a small section that has some of the leather stitching starting to come apart. PAINT AND BODY The body is in great shape with Zino Red (Zinnoberrot) paint in excellent condition. It has NO dents or rust on the body. The car has been repainted at some point but care was taken and was done right. The IS trunk spoiler paint is beginning to show some slight cracking. WHEELS AND TIRES It has a set of rare silver and gold basket-weave BBS wheels all around. The tires are in great shape with 75% tread. ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIES It has the factory A/C system that works great and blows cold. All the power windows and locks function correctly including the factory stereo. The headlights are HID. EXHAUST It has the original factory exhaust system that is in great shape. SUSPENSION AND BRAKES The suspension and brake system has many upgrades (as seen in the photos below). Rebuilt brake calipers with Brembo brake pads and rotors and stainless steel braided brake lines. Installed is a complete set of Bilstein struts and shocks all the way around. Also added are Eibach springs with polyurethane I.E. bushings, sway bar, offset control arm bushings and control arms with bracket kits, and tie rod assemblies.
